On May 14, Anthropic announced that starting June 15, programmatic Claude usage via subscription plans moves to a new dedicated monthly credit pool billed at API-style rates. Affects the Agent SDK, claude -p command, Claude Code GitHub Actions, and third-party agent apps like OpenClaw, Conductor, and Zed. Monthly credits: Pro $20, Max 5x $100, Max 20x $200. Credits expire monthly. Regular chat through Anthropic first-party tools is not affected. Watch for an Anthropic email on June 8.
