Free Plan

Pro Plan

Team Plan

Enterprise Plan
Custom deployment and compliance for large organizations.
Enterprise includes dedicated support, custom features, compliance guarantees, and the ability to deploy Claude on-premise or in your own cloud. Includes full Cowork capabilities.

Cowork is available on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Here's how to get started:
Choose Your Plan
Subscribe to Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise on claude.ai.
Launch Claude
Open claude.ai in your browser, or download the desktop app from claude.com/download.
Switch to Cowork Mode
Look for the mode selector (usually at the top of the app) and click Cowork to switch from chat mode to agentic mode.

What Cowork Includes
File Work
Organize, edit, format, and summarize files in folders. Cowork can open, modify, and save documents without you typing each command.
Connectors
Connect to apps like Gmail, Google Drive, GitHub, Slack, and others. Cowork can read data from and write to your tools as part of a workflow.
Multi-Step Workflows
Describe a goal and let Cowork break it into steps, coordinate across apps, and complete the work end-to-end.
Background Work
Start a task and let Cowork run it in the background while you work on other things. You'll get a notification when it's done.
Multiple Surfaces
Use Cowork on desktop (macOS or Windows), on the web, or on mobile. Your sessions sync across devices so you can switch between them.

Is Cowork available on the Free plan?
No. Cowork is only available on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. You must have a paid subscription to use agentic mode.
Which Claude app can I use Cowork on?
